Scientific Review, Oversight and Academia

AES scientists have participated in review, technical and scientific oversight committees involving endangered species issues, ecological land management, restoration ecology, and impact assessments worldwide. AES lead scientists have contributed to the conservation science and restoration ecology of several globally endangered bird species, in Africa, Europe and the U.S.A. Our work has helped to develop the use of sophisticated analytical techniques for conservation biology and subsequent species identification, population assessment and management. AES scientists retain an active research program and regularly publish in peer-reviewed ecological, bird, and environmental management journals. AES scientists participate in University and technical specialist-group seminars and lecture throughout the U.S.A. and have been invited speakers and guest Professors at several European Universities. Our principal scientist is an adjunct Professor and a research associate with several scientific organizations and institutions around the world.
